Elite Design uses stainless steel in a satin brushed finish for our frames and bases on some furniture. The stainless steel is a combination of nickel and chrome which provides a natural barrier against corrosion.

There are a few simple suggestions for keeping your stainless steel clean and looking new:

• Clean with a dampened cloth. A mild soap can be used to remove any stains
• To restore luster to the stainless steel, a commercial stainless steel cleaner can be used. Just spray or apply to a clean cloth and wipe it on the stainless steel. Do not buff, a residue will remain on stainless steel which gives it the luster
• An ammonia product or mild detergent can be used to clean more heavily soiled stainless steel.
• Abrasive detergents or abrasive scrubbing products will scratch the surface leaving an uneven brushed finish
